Rochester cookbook features food, drink recipes from chefs, bartenders
For the second year running, content creators Stephanie Hanna and Casey Bowker have teamed up to publish a cookbook that features recipes from Rochester-area chefs and bartenders.
Hanna photographed the dishes and the cookbook was designed by Rochester graphic designer Rebecca Flisnik.
A Seat at the Table Volume 2 is a soft-cover cookbook with 20 recipes from chefs and bartenders from Voula’s Greek Sweets, Salena’s Mexican Restaurant, Mama Lor’s Cafe, Palermo’s Market, Tree Town Cafe, Brown Hound Downtown, Chef’s Catering, Good Smoke BBQ, Effortlessly Healthy, Bobo’s Chicken Shack, Julia K. Caters, Simply Crepes, Cut, Flour, RoCoCo Coffee Co., Nolan’s on Canandaigua Lake, Sapori Catering, Nox, Kiss Me Cookie and Tournedo’s Steakhouse. Each recipe is accompanied by a story about its creator.
A portion of the sales will go to C.U.R.E. Childhood Cancer Association.
Cookbooks, $25 each, may be ordered in advance for pickup from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Nov. 27 at Mercantile on Main, in Sibley Square at 240 E Main St., and from 1 to 3 p.m. Dec. 19 at Stacey K Floral, 43 Russell St.
It will also be available in local shops, restaurants and bookstores. A digital download of the cookbook will be available for $20.
Casey Bowker is the host and creator of ROConnoisseur, a YouTube show that explores bars and restaurants in upstate New York.
