    California Could See More EV Chargers In Fast Food Parking Lots Thanks To ChargeNet

    ChargeNet has raised $6.2 million from local investors to expand its network of EV charging stations at fast food restaurants across California, dot.LA reports. Aligned Climate Capital led the funding, and another investor included the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI), which incubates startups that are focused on cleantech and climate solutions. It invested through its venture arm, the LACI Impact Fund. Another investor was the nonprofit Tech Coast Angels and its San Diego chapter, San Diego Angels. The funding will enable ChargeNet to deploy solar-powered EV charging stations at fast food restaurant parking lots starting with a Taco Bell

    Impossible Foods opens vegan fast food restaurants in metro Phoenix

    Impossible Foods, the company known for its soy-based meat alternatives including the popular Impossible Burger, has opened four delivery-only restaurants in Arizona. The Impossible Shop operates out of Dog Haus restaurant locations in Phoenix, Gilbert, Tempe and Yuma. Plant-based meat companies including Impossible Foods and Beyond Meat have seen a rise in popularity in recent years as they expanded to more grocery stores and began collaborations with national chains from Taco Bell to White Castle, which offer vegetarian menu items made using Impossible or Beyond faux meats.     In-N-Out sues Michigan fast food restaurant Doll n’ Burgers for similar look

    So it may come as no surprise that In-N-Out has filed yet another copyright infringement lawsuit. This time, the fast food chain is suing a Michigan restaurant called Doll n’ Burgers, with locations in Tecumseh and Jackson, according to the Daily Telegram. In-N-Out is reportedly claiming Doll n’ Burgers has borrowed a little too liberally from its signature look, from a white, red and yellow color scheme to employees dressed in white shirts, red aprons and paper hats. In the lawsuit, reports the Daily Telegram, In-N-Out also mentions the restaurant’s similar “white cups with red graphics; open-ended burger wrappers;
